Hello DCC Dolphins!

With practice starting next week I would like to ask everyone to download the SwimTopia mobile app. With this app, the DCC coaching staff will be able to communicate with you through push notifications—which is helpful when we need to get information out quickly, such as last-minute changes in meet/practice details due to weather. These push notifications will come to your smartphone and/or email so it is our most effective method of near instant communication. Returning members of the team likely already have the app, please check to make sure everything is up to date.

To receive push alerts on your phone:

1. Download the SwimTopia Mobile App on the App Store or Google Play
2. Log in with your SwimTopia login (same information you use to log into the DCC swim team website https://dccdolphins.swimtopia.com/)
3. Be sure to check your app’s notification settings -- ensure that it’s set to pop up on your screen (Android users: you may need to receive your first notification before you can edit this setting)

*Note: If you don’t download the app, you’ll still receive the alerts via email.

Other features of the free mobile app include:

• Personalized calendar view of upcoming meets and events
• Personalized meet overview for your family (including swim events and volunteer jobs)
• Easy access to meet signup/RSVP, separate email with this info coming soon
• public meet search/guest mode
• Your athlete's best times
• Your athlete's history
• Post-meet results for your family’s athletes

You may see prompts to upgrade to a free trial of the Pro version. I have never used anything but the free version of the SwimTopia app so I cannot offer any feedback on the Pro version which might require payment.
