Hey everyone,

We are so excited about our first meet of the swim season!  I wanted to send a quick email to remind everyone of a few things.  I will be serving as swim mom again this year so please let me know if you have any questions at all.  Please know that it assumed that all swim team families will step up to volunteer a minimum of THREE times throughout the season. It really is fun and a great way to get to know each other and the kiddos. It can be moms or dads that help or both! I promise to try to keep us organized on the volunteer end, but it really helps the coaches and me so much if you sign up ahead of time. We still need to fill SEVERAL slots for our first home meet on Tuesday. I wanted to clarify what some jobs entail so you have a better understanding.

1. Bullpen: You are in charge of ONE age group of either boys or girls. You are given a list of when each of the kiddos swims and it is your job to make sure they are in the chairs ready to swim when it's time. You get to cheer on the kids and congratulate them after swimming. You can choose first shift (first half of the meet) or second. 6 & unders only need a first shift helper.

2. Timers: You are given a stop watch and you time the swimmers.

3. Recorders: You write down the times.

Second, DCC Dolphin Gear. Our color is green. Try to wear green or purchase a DCC Dolphins tank. We are working on designing a new tank this year so stay tuned.
