Hello DCC Dolphins!

Our first swim meet is just over one week away, on the afternoon of Tuesday, 5/25 at DCC vs Georgetown. It is important the coaching staff have accurate information pertaining to which swimmers will not be able to participate in each swim meet this summer. If you have not already, visit our team website and indicate the swim meets your family will not be participating in this summer. Below are the steps to complete this process –

• Click on https://dccdolphins.swimtopia.com/
• Click on the ‘Meets’ tab on the top ribbon of the website

• Look for each swim meet in bold letters on the screen. Click on the green meet entry option to the right of each swim meet.
• Follow the prompts to indicate the swim meets that will be missed.

• This process must be done for each swim meet that will be missed during the season.
• This is the same process to follow for dive meet participation and signing up to serve as a volunteer during meets.

I will generate a meet absence report from our team website after 4pm the Friday before each meet. This is the information I will use to develop the entry lineup for all swim meets this season. The only swimmers I will not enter in meets will be those whose names appear on the meet absence report I generate. It is important the information received from our team website is accurate because inaccurate information about meet participation can have a negative effect on other swimmers on the team.

Online registration for each meet of the season will close at 4pm the Friday before each meet. You may change your child’s status for the meet as many times as needed before 4pm the Friday before the meet. If you need to make a change to your meet status after this time please email, call, or text Coach Kevin with the new information. You will need to send a text message or call my cell number below in the event of a last-minute change to meet status.

Proactive communication about missing meets is greatly appreciated! Advanced communication allows the coaching staff to adjust meet events in the effort to limit the impact that lineup changes can have on other swimmers on the team. Thank you for your help with this.
