Hello DCC Dolphins!

We are excited that our swim season is just around the corner! We wanted to share some dates and information with you. As you can imagine, this season is still very much a work in progress and our plans below are subject to change as we find what works and does not for our team. We appreciate your flexibility and will communicate adjustments as needed.

After school practices will begin on Monday, 5/10. Afternoon practices will take place according to the schedule below –

• Week of 5/10, Monday – Friday
• Week of 5/17, Monday – Thursday (no swim practice on Friday, 5/21)
• Week of 5/24, Monday – Thursday (*start morning practices on Friday, 5/28*)

  Afternoon practice times:

  • 4:00pm - 4:30pm, 6 & unders
  • 4:40pm - 5:25pm, 7-8 & 9-10
  • 5:35pm - 6:20pm, 11-12 & 13 over

  Morning swim practice schedule starts Friday, 5/28 and continues Monday – Friday for rest of season.
  (No swim practice on Memorial Day, 5/31).
  Times for morning swim practices are below –

  • 8:30am - 9:00am, 6 & unders
  • 9:10am - 9:55am, 7-8 & 9-10
  • 10:05am - 10:50am, 11-12 & 13 over

  Tentative details for swim meets, all meets begin at 5:30pm*:

  • Meet 1 – home on Tuesday, 5/25 vs Georgetown
  • Meet 2 – away on Tuesday, 6/1 at The Branches
  • Meet 3 – away on Tuesday, 6/8 at Wynterhall
  • Meet 4 – home on Monday, 6/14 vs Brittany Club
  • Meet 5 – away on Monday, 6/21 at Riverside

  *Our goal is to have in person meets this season, we will keep everyone informed about adjustments. Meet dates, times, and format are subject to change. More details will be communicated via email soon.

  ASA Championships @ GA Tech: This is an optional meet at the end of the season. We are waiting on word as to whether championships will happen and how this meet will look. We do know that the league moved to a timed finals format, so swimmers will only swim during their assigned day and do not have to return GA Tech for finals on a different day. If the ASA Championship meet does take place it is likely, but not confirmed that our session would be on Thursday 6/24 or Friday, 6/25. More details to be communicated as they become available.
